Just got back in from Vegas and wasn’t able to make time to see Andy Laroche. I’m a little unhappy about it, but hopefully he’ll be called up soon and this won’t be a problem.
Regardless, the Dodgers had a good series against the Cubs. I didn’t get to watch much of it, but judging from the box scores, they starting to score some runs again. Last time they faced the Cubs, they scored three runs in three games and got swept, this time 15 in four games.
Like I said, that Thursday loss was pretty nasty, but they rebounded pretty well by winning two in a row, and splitting a four-game series with the best team in the league is a start.
It looks like things are starting to normalize for Penny after I posted that thing about him sucking, so maybe this is the start.
Lowe’s also been looking pretty swell and Bills has bounced back from that bad start to the season. Meanwhile, Kuroda’s been our best pitcher and Kershaw has looked pretty good as the fifth starter (hopefully we’ll see more of him).
I think things are going to start to come together soon. Maybe not tomorrow or anything, but they’re looking a little better and I feel a winning streak coming up soon (no stats to verify that, but hey, gut feelings sometimes mean something).
Liveblogging the Padres-Dodgers game tomorrow, come join us, it’ll be fun.
