I was just having some fun with WAR numbers (Baseball-References’) and decided to add everything up. The results are pretty interesting.  You’re uh … you’re gonna wanna read to the bottom.

Well shit, who woulda guessed that.

Take a grain of salt with that because defense weighs into WAR kinda heavily even though it’s an inexact science, but that the NL is even in the same ballpark as the AL–let alone ahead–is a little shocking.
