Can’t say much about a day in which there is literally no baseball or sports period (not a big Espys guy).
Instead, Golden Sombrero was talking about great SI covers on twitter and I was remembering some of the awesome shots Neil Leifer took. Good lord there’s some great ones.
Here’s my favorite, of Yogi Berra hitting a home run in the 1960 World Series. (Notice how every person’s face is watching the ball leave the park).
Leifer was 17 years old when he took this shot. That’s just an fyi so you can remember how Not Cool you were at that age.
