Dodgers Lose Again. To the Astros.

The Astros are maybe the worst team in baseball right now and they beat the Dodgers tonight, 3-2. It was the Dodgers’ sixth straight loss. Can’t say much about the Dodgers’ performance, but blogger favorite John Lindsey got a chance to pinch hit. Lindsey, 33, has spent his entire career in the minor leagues and received his first career plate appearance tonight against Gustavo Chacin in the 6th inning.

He unfortunately flied out to center on what appeared to be a fastball up. (Note: there’s a reason he didn’t make the majors for so long.)

AJ Ellis also caught a runner stealing. The Dodgers hadn’t caught a runner stealing in the past 40 attempts.

Dodgers are in Houston tomorrow at 5:05 p.m. PST. Hiroki Kuroda vs. J.A. Happ (and apparently it’s pronounced “Jay,” even though it’s spelled like that).
