Presidential First Pitches: A Gallery

Well, after a few days of searching, I’ve assembled a pretty big gallery of Presidential first pitches. Some of it is thanks to this gallery by Sports Illustrated, some of it is thanks to google searches and other sources.

Most interesting are the George H.W. Bush ones. Bush Sr. was a big, big baseball fan and played for Yale. According to Baseball-Almanac, he kept his glove in his desk in the Oval Office.

Also of note: Ronald Reagan appears to be the first one to pitch from the mound instead of a presidential box. That’s such a Reagan move.

Anyway, enjoy.
